Cancellation Policy

A cancellation less than 24 hours before your appointment is charged at the full session fee. The client is responsible and agrees to pay the full fee. However, I recognize that emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances may occur and sometimes you are unable to provide 24 hours' notice. The option to have a phone session is available, in situations where appropriate, to keep the appointment and avoid the late cancellation charge.

Payment Information

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, credit cards, and Health Savings Cards. I am an out-of-network provider with insurance companies, but am able to provide a superbill upon request.

Good Faith Estimate - Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of Expected Charges

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services. I am an out-of-network provider for any insurance. Self-pay clients will be provided a GFE at least one day prior to their session with their rate for therapy, and the self-pay rate is also noted in Renewed Resiliency Counseling's policy practices document that clients are provided before starting therapy. These rates are also available in the Pricing and FAQs section of this website.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
